Day 10

Not just a random cartoon, but a cult phenomenon of Little Gamers.
Little Gamers webcomic helped immensely in popularizing the use of leet speak.

Leet speak, also known as leetspeak (sans space), is an alphabet used primarily on the Internet. It uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace "Latinateelite", and the usage it describes is a specialized form of symbolic writing. Leet may also be considered a substitution cipher, though many dialects exist in different online communities.

The term leet is also used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment, especially in the fields of online gaming or in its original usage, computer hacking.

Bottom line, if you understood any of this, you need to get out more.

Day 9

An ecosystem is a system of interdependent organisms which share the same habitat, in an area functioning together with all of the physical factors of the environment.

The only other known ecosystem in a glass was discovered by Lisa Simpson in Treehouse of Horror VII. Another great Simpsons moment is when Homer gets super fat and wears a muumuu. I did not know the spelling of muumuu until this very moment! Another great educational moment from The Simpsons.

Day 2

An homage to the video game geek. You see, each heart represents a life, or for those not familiar with playing games, one "try". Games often give more than one of said tries in order to ease the player's frustration as they continuously play a level in an attempt to finish it. Once the player loses all of his or her lives, he must then start again... frustration ensues.

For further information on video game lives, please consult someone who is currently living in his mother's basement.

Day 1

A delicate retro-inspired print of angry dinosaurs in the 50's watching a 3d film. Possibly at a drive-in cinema.

The Daily T Shirt

Richard claims to own over 1500 t-shirts. As an experiment, we have decided to document Richard's outfit changes every day for at least 6 months to take full advantage of his Tee collection.

We hope you enjoy watching Richard and his Ts.
